Biography: |
He is an experienced banker, having served in the commercial banking divisions of ShoreBank-Cleveland, Huntington National Bank, and KeyCorp. A graduate of Howard University, with a bachelor’s degree in print journalism, Kirby also holds an MBA in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He worked as a reporter for Reuters News Agency before focusing his career in finance. After graduating from NYU, he worked for nearly five years at Standard & Poor’s as a bond analyst in New York City. Mr. Freeman serves as Board
Chair for The Greater Cleveland Health Education & Service Council. He also
serves as a member of Shaker Heights City School District’s Finance & Audit
Committee, which advises the Shaker Heights School Board. He also serves on
the loan review committee of the Cleveland Citywide Development Corporation.

Biography: |
Juan
had a twenty year career with KeyCorp and its predecessor banks. He
began as a Mortgage Loan Officer for Residential Real Estate, served as A. V.
P for Commercial Real Estate lending, and most recently was V.P. and
Relationship Manager for KeyCorp's Community Development Corporation. Juan
has experience doing SBA 504 loans and other government assisted lending. At
KeyCorp he had managed equity projects up to $78M+
for low-income housing tax credits, historic tax credits, business, and real
estate projects. Juan served as the Chairman of the Hispanic Business Association, which is the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for Ohio. Juan currently serves as Board Member of WECO Fund, Inc. and Towards Employment. Juan is a graduate of Baldwin Wallace College with both a B.A. and an M.B.A. Juan F. Hernandez joined the staff as Business Development Director for Growth Capital in February 2002. Juan manages the marketing and business development activities for the Growth Capital Corp.

Biography: |
In June 2005, John
Kropf joined Growth Capital Corp. as the Executive Director. Before joining
Growth Capital, John served as the Vice President and Deputy Director with the
Community Loan Fund of South Western PA where he lead their Certified
Development Company to the Number One CDC status in the SBA Pittsburgh
District as well as the Number One SBA Microloan lender. His prior experience
with Wells Fargo Financial and his 14 years of experience in lending,
business development, marketing and organizational leadership will continue to help him make an impact at Growth Capital. |
